Sausage Rice Casserole

Sausage Rice Casserole Recipe

This was a hit with the family tonight!  Check out the recipe on Taste of Home's website:

I have the book for freezer recipes.  I halfed the recipe since I wasn't freezing the second dish - just cooking it right away.  It calls for sausage, but I could see it easily working with any other favorite meat.  Of course, the sausage has a certain flavor so regular ground beef may be a little bland.  Anyhow, it was good!

  1. Made this for my family last night. I didn't double it just in case they didn't like it. Next time I will double it beacause all 3 said it was a amake again. I can't have gluten so I cooked it up until adding the soup. I then took a little out and added a bit more spice for me and then finished it up for the fam. It was tasty. Something different then our norm. THANKS.

    O, I might add onion or bell peppers next time.
